Texas Tab Suspender Pro is a browser extension that suspends tabs you are not using so your browser uses less memory, and restores a tab when you click it. This policy explains, in plain language, what information the extension works with and what it does not do.
The short version: the extension runs entirely in your own browser. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server operated by us. We do not collect, sell, share, or transmit your browsing information anywhere. Tab URLs are read locally, on your device, only to check your whitelist and whether a tab is active — they are never collected or sent to us.
To suspend and restore tabs, the extension works with the following information, inside your browser only:
This information is used only to operate the suspend-and-restore feature. It is never used to build a profile of you, to target advertising, or for any purpose unrelated to suspending tabs.
Your settings are stored using Chrome's built-in extension storage (chrome.storage.sync). That means Chrome syncs your settings through your own Google account, as part of Chrome's sync feature, so your settings follow you between your own browsers. That syncing is handled entirely by Chrome and Google under your account — your settings are never sent to Redemption Road Music Group, and we have no server that receives them and no way to view them.
Suspended-tab state and the tab titles and URLs the extension works with are processed locally in your browser. They are never transmitted to Redemption Road Music Group or to any other server.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone. We do not transfer it to data brokers, advertisers, analytics providers, or any other third party. The extension contains no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.
The extension uses no third-party services and runs no remote code. The only outside system involved in handling your settings is Chrome's own sync, described above, which operates under your own Google account and Google's privacy policy — not ours.
We hold no copies of your data, so there is nothing on our side to retain or delete. Your settings stay in Chrome's extension storage until you remove them: they are deleted when you uninstall the extension, you can erase them by clearing the extension's data in Chrome's settings, and synced settings can also be cleared through your Chrome sync settings.
The extension is a general-purpose browser utility. It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date. If a future version of the extension ever changed how it handles information in a material way, that change would be described here before or when it takes effect.
Texas Tab Suspender Pro's use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements: information accessed through Chrome's extension APIs is used only to provide the extension's single, user-facing purpose — suspending and restoring tabs — is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide that feature (there are no such transfers), is not used for advertising or credit-worthiness purposes, and is never read by a human at Redemption Road Music Group.
